Backstage News On WWE Changing Superstar’s Name

Over the last few months WWE has been putting the spotlight on some new talents, and even more new talents have been getting TV time thanks to Raw Underground.

One star who’s been making the most of his TV time recently is Dabba-Kato, formerly known as Babatunde Aiyegbusi.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that his name was changed from Babatunde Aiyegbusi to Dabba-Kato so that WWE can own his name. The idea is that he won’t be able to use the name if he leaves WWE in the future.

WWE officially changed his name from Babtunde when he was brought to TV for Raw Underground.

On Raw this week Braun Strowman made a surprise appearance and dominated Raw Underground. He was then confronted by Dabba-Kato, and Shane McMahon announced that they will face off on Raw Underground next week.
