Over the last few years Liv Morgan has become one of the breakout stars in the women’s division. Morgan has been consistently involved in some of the top programs on WWE programming and it looks like she could be set for a big role at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that there’s an internal push to showcase Liv Morgan as a centerpiece of the women’s division at WrestleMania this year. Several inside sources have indicated that the company wants to feature her prominently, possibly in a singles capacity.
Liv Morgan has been cleared to wrestle and she recently returned to the ring during WWE’s Holiday Tour. Morgan returned to WWE programming back in November, but has not wrestled a match on television. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has heard the company is waiting for the right time for Liv Morgan’s in-ring return on TV.
Last year at WrestleMania 41, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez dropped the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to Lyra Valkyria and a returning Becky Lynch. Shortly after they regained the titles when Becky Lynch turned on Valkyria on the Raw after WrestleMania.
Morgan had been off TV since June after she dislocated her shoulder during a match on Raw, but returned in November at Survivor Series. Following her return WWE seemingly teased a potential Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer match for the title, and you can get more details on the tease here.
