Shane McMahon’s life has been full of ups and downs as of late. Shane recently won the WWE World Cup at Crown Jewel and earned the right to call himself the best in the world, but at Survivor Series his brand, SmackDown Live, got destroyed by Monday Night Raw.
For months now it’s been rumored that Shane McMahon is set to turn heel, but fans haven’t seen much of a change in his character in recent weeks.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the storylines following Shane McMahon’s WWE World Cup victory are still scheduled, but they are scheduled to take place in the first quarter of 2019, and WWE’s plans for Shane will likely set up his match for WrestleMania 35.
It was recently reported that original plans for Shane at WrestleMania called for him to face Daniel Bryan, but it appears that idea is off the table now that Daniel Bryan has turned heel.
