Fans have seen a number of wrestlers return to WWE in recent months, but it was reported this week by Tokyo Sports that WWE NXT star Sarray is leaving the company. Fightful Select is reporting that they were able to confirm the report and that Sarray has bookings elsewhere. However, WWE has yet to comment on her departure.
It’s being said that the beginning of the end for Sarray was in the beginning of 2022 when many of her supporters were let go. Sources noted that after that she never factored into creative plans in a major or consistent fashion. William Regal’s departure was seen as a turning point and by the spring of 2022 the writing was on the wall.
People who frequent the WWE Performance Center in Orlando added that Sarray hadn’t been around in “ages.” They also weren’t given any answers when they asked about her. It was widely accepted within the company that the creative given to Sarray was just outright bad.
People in the company noted that Sarray took great pride in helping Tiffany Stratton during their feud and that she thought a lot of Stratton. It’s being said that although there was a language barrier there were no issues with Sarray as only positive things were said about her. WWE has yet to confirm the departure but her work with the company is effectively done.
