Backstage News On Why WWE Released SmackDown’s Lead Writer

Recently WWE made some big budget cuts which resulted in a lot of people getting released, but the company also released SmackDown lead writer Chris DeJoseph.

SEScoops.com is reporting that Chris DeJoseph was released due to inappropriate conduct and remarks during a meeting backstage.

According to the report DeJoseph worked closely with Bruce Prichard, but Vince McMahon made the call to fire him.

It’s being said that Vince McMahon was irate with DeJoseph for acting in a “highly unprofessional” manner.

People who worked closely with Chris DeJoseph also noted that he was struggling to keep up with the company’s grueling schedule.
