Backstage News On Why WWE Moved Seth Rollins To SmackDown

For months now Seth Rollins has been calling himself the Monday Night Messiah, but the former Universal Champion was recently moved to Friday Night SmackDown in the draft.

Rollins move to SmackDown was easily one of the biggest moves from the 2020 draft, and fans are waiting to see what kind of impact Rollins will have on the blue brand.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Seth Rollins was moved to SmackDown as a replacement for AJ Styles, who was moved to Raw.

Styles had openly complained about missing his son’s Friday night football games, and he had also openly complained about wanting to be moved off Raw earlier this year due to his issues with Paul Heyman.

Seth Rollins is still involved in a feud with the Mysterio family, which is why Murphy and the Mysterio family were also drafted to SmackDown, so they could go with him.
