During the October 22 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch met in the middle of the ring to exchange their title belts, but Flair went off script when she dropped the belt instead of handing it to Lynch. The Man then responded by throwing her belt at Charlotte Flair.
Charlotte Flair has been a very hot topic following the belt exchange with Becky Lynch on SmackDown as the two champions got into a heated altercation backstage after the show was over, and Charlotte was reportedly escorted out of the building.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE is in a tricky situation when it comes to Charlotte Flair because she’s not the only guilty party.
“Charlotte is a tricky situation. Not just because she’s a star in a division with very few stars,” a WWE source reportedly said. “But because she’s not the only guilty party. Discipline her and you have to discipline quite a few people.”
Charlotte Flair was pulled from media appearances last week, but she did appear on SmackDown when she faced off against Shotzi. Stay tuned for more updates on the Charlotte Flair situation as they become available.
