They say that anything can happen in WWE, and you never know who might end up making an appearance on Monday Night Raw, or Friday Night SmackDown.
This week WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons appeared on Monday Night Raw, and he spoke with Bobby Lashley and MVP backstage. He told them that he knows they have their own way of doing things, but there’s a better way.
It was recently reported that Ron Simmons was brought into Raw because WWE had plans to bring back the Nation of Domination, but the plans were dropped.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there were people backstage who thought the idea to bring the group back was incredibly tone deaf from a real life timing perspective, so a lot of people wanted the idea nixed.
It’s not clear if the idea has been dropped completely, or if WWE will continue the angle in the future.
Mark Henry was also brought in for the angle on Monday, but he wasn’t used.
Stay tuned for updates.
