Earlier this week talk of a potential WWE departure started to pick up when Lacey Evans changed her handles on Instagram and Twitter. Evans then went on to further tease her departure when she posted the following on Instagram noting that she would be known as Macey Estrella moving forward:

“When the clock strikes 12, you will address me as Macey Estrella from here on out…….oh, and this jacket is up for grabs. Be on the lookout.v#ComingSoon #NoMannersMacey #GottaThinkOfSomeOtherCoolHashTag #LordLookAtMe”

PWInsider is reporting that Lacey Evans’ deal with the company expired this week, and the company has officially removed her from the internal roster. WWE confirmed the departure by moving her to the alumni section of their website.

Since her deal expired Lacey won’t have to wait out a no compete clause. Currently she is a free agent for the first time since 2016 and free to work wherever she wants moving forward. However, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Lacey’s current plan is to open a diner.

“Lacey Evans is no longer with WWE. She has changed her Instagram handle to Limitless Macy, her real name Macey Estrella. And formerly, it says on her deal, formerly known as WWE Superstar Lacey Evans. She is done with WWE, and I was told that she’s going to be opening up a local diner, and that’s just it.”
