Kevin Owens was absent from WWE Raw last week, but with Triple H now taking over WWE creative fans have wondered if the change could be a good thing for Owens. Fightful Select reports that they haven’t heard anything about Owens being injured. Instead it’s being reported that creative plans are being cooked up for Kevin Owens moving forward.
Owens was hired and given a major push when Triple H was in charge of NXT, and Triple H was also tied to KO on screen when he helped Kevin Owens win the Universal Championship in 2016.
Lacey Evans was originally set to face Aliyah on the July 29 episode of SmackDown, but she was pulled from the show. On TV it was noted that she was not cleared to compete. However, it’s being said that there are no immediate creative plans for her. Evans was someone Vince McMahon worked closely with as she was a personal favorite of his, but the belief is that her return was “chaotic and directionless” when it played out on TV.
Omos is still on the road with WWE and being managed by MVP even though he hasn’t been on Raw. He did face off against Ezekiel at the Main Event tapings on Monday. Many talents are said to be waiting to learn their new directions under the new regime, and some have had meetings with Triple H about it.
