Backstage News On Why Kane Was Attacked At WWE Extreme Rules

A few weeks ago Team Hell No reunited, and on Sunday night they challenged The Bludgeon Brothers for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at Extreme Rules.

However, before the match started, The Bludgeon Brothers decided to attack Team Hell No backstage with Kane taking the brunt of the punishment.

PWInsider is reporting that Kane is dealing with a left foot injury, and the attack was booked to cover for the injury.

He was seen earlier in the day using a walking boot, so they decided to use it as part of the storyline for the SmackDown Tag Team Title match.

Daniel Bryan started the match all by himself, but eventually Kane made his way out to the ring in his walking boot.

Unfortunately for Kane and Daniel Bryan, they didn’t manage to get the job done as The Bludgeon Brothers retained.
