WWE is currently building toward the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, but one star who has been noticeably absent in recent weeks is AJ Styles.
The Phenomenal One has been one of the top stars on Monday Night Raw for some time now, but fans haven’t seen him on WWE programming since WrestleMania 36 last month.
At WrestleMania 36 AJ Styles faced off against The Undertaker in the first ever Boneyard Match, and when it was all said and done Taker picked up the victory when he buried Styles alive.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter AJ isn’t being used right now because WWE officials feel that they have to sell the consequences of him getting buried alive at Mania.
