This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite took place from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, and it featured the first cage match in AEW history.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that a lot of top TNT executives were at AEW Dynamite this week, and there were no issues in regards to the blood during the cage match.
It’s also being reported that Tony Khan wrote the tag team battle royal, along with input from The Young Bucks, BJ Whitmer and QT Marshall. Khan wrote the match with Whitmer and Marshall working as assistants, and The Bucks then ran point position on the match and explained it to the other 18 participants. It’s being said that no one missed a spot.
Chris Jericho and Dean Malenko laid out the post match interactions for Jericho and Jon Moxley. Tony Khan made the decision to turn the lights out before Darby Allin made his way to the ring.
Kenny Omega was in charge of the Kris Statlander match, as well as his own tag team match.
Cody Rhodes was in charge of the cage match main event which saw him defeat Wardlow.
