Backstage News On Who Ran WWE SmackDown Live This Week

This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live dealt with the fallout from Clash of Champions, and it also set up a big match for the blue brand’s upcoming debut on FOX.

PWInsider is reporting that Vince McMahon wasn’t at SmackDown Live this week.

McMahon reportedly went over plans for the show several times throughout the day via telephone production meetings, but he was not physically at the show.

According to the report, SmackDown was run by Bruce Prichard, Michael Hayes, Ed Koskey and Eric Bischoff.

Monday Night Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman was not at the taping.
