Backstage News On When WWE Decided To Have Sheamus Cash In, Roman Reigns’ Future

Last night Sheamus shocked the world when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and defeated Sheamus to become WWE Champion. On the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that WWE made the decision to have Sheamus cash in only hours before Survivor Series began.

It was also noted that WWE does want Roman Reigns to be the WWE Champion, but they don’t want people to boo when he wins the belt. It’s possible that WWE will spend more time building Roman up with more storylines and outside appearances before putting the belt on him again.
