Earlier this year Edge did the impossible when he returned to the ring following a career ending injury.
He defeated Randy Orton at WrestleMania, and on Sunday night Edge and Orton faced off once again at Backlash.
The Rated R Superstar suffered a torn triceps in his right arm during the match when it was taped on June 7th.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that parts of the match were taped multiple times, and that Edge was injured during the second shooting of re-takes.
There’s currently no word on the exact spot that caused the injury.
At this point in time there’s no timetable for Edge’s return, but torn triceps injuries normally take about 8 months of recovery time.
