A few weeks ago Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar faced off at Crown Jewel with the Universal Championship on the line, and things didn’t exactly go Braun Strowman’s way.
Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin hit Strowman in the head with the Universal Title before the match began, and Brock Lesnar followed up by hitting the Monster Among Men with the F5 multiple times to win the title.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Braun Strowman demanded another title shot, and Stephanie McMahon granted his request.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar is not expected to take place at WrestleMania 35, which means Strowman will likely be facing Lesnar before then, possibly at the Royal Rumble.
