AJ Styles has been on a roll ever since he joined WWE in 2016. He’s held the WWE Championship twice, and he’s also been featured in some big matches on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
WWE has pushed Styles as one of the company’s top stars, but Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that The Phenomenal One’s contract is set to expire in April.
It’s being said that with the emergence of All Elite Wrestling, this is a very opportunistic time for Styles’ contract to be coming to an end.
However, it’s expected that AJ Styles will be signing a new deal with WWE and staying with the company.
AJ is set to challenge Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view tonight.
