Jeff Hardy has unfortunately been making headlines recently as he was arrested once again this week. The Hardys were originally booked for two big matches this week, but now it seems that changes are being made.
F4Wonline.com reports that while AEW hasn’t said anything publicly WarnerMedia was told to immediately stop all promotion of Jeff Hardy in commercials or anywhere else. AEW has stopped promoting the triple threat tag team title match for Road Rager on Wednesday, and it’s not clear if there are plans for the match to take place with just two teams.
The Hardys were also scheduled to face Dragon Lee & Dralistico at AAA Triplemania in Tijuana on Saturday. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that AAA would like to keep Matt Hardy in the match, ideally with a new partner. There’s currently no word on who Matt’s potential partner could be, but the company has asked a bunch of guys.
