This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw was the first episode with Paul Heyman working as Executive Director, and the show had a little bit of a different feel compared to what fans have become accustomed to in recent weeks.
Sports Illustrated is reporting that WWE executives, including Vince McMahon, were “immensely pleased” with the “pacing, tone, and essence” on the latest episode of Raw.
It was recently reported that although Heyman wasn’t the only person in charge of the show this week, his fingerprints were said to have been all over Raw.
The Braun Strowman/Bobby Lashley stage spot, and the Mike and Maria Kanellis pregnancy angle were both Heyman’s ideas, and The Street Profits appearance on Raw was also said to have been a Heyman move.
It will be interesting to see if WWE can keep the momentum going on Monday, as it’s already been announced that Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins will be taking on Andrade & Zelina Vega.
Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre will be facing Roman Reigns, and Shane will be picking Roman’s partner for the match.
If The Undertaker interferes he will be removed from his tag team match at Extreme Rules.
