Vince McMahon sent the wrestling world into a frenzy earlier this week after it was reported that he was firmly in charge of Monday Night Raw. There were reportedly several late changes made to the Raw after WrestleMania and Vince McMahon became a trending topic on social media after the show.
Heading into SmackDown this week there was a lot of speculation regarding how involved Vince would be with the show, but it doesn’t sound like he was nearly as hands on with SmackDown as he was with Raw on Monday.
PWInsider reports that Vince McMahon was not at SmackDown this week as he viewed plans for the show remotely. It’s being said that there were minor changes to the script, but nothing major.
A source at the tapings described the changes to the script as “nothing out of the ordinary” and there was no sign of rewrites that altered multiple segments on the show.
Triple H made an appearance on Friday Night SmackDown this week and he announced that the WWE Draft will take place in a few weeks. The Game did not confirm a date for the draft, but it looks like the date may have been revealed and you can get more on that here.
