Vince McMahon is one of the most powerful people in wrestling, but it looks like McMahon could be sidelined for a while as Sean Ross Sapp recently reported that Vince underwent major spinal surgery last week.
Fightful Select is reporting that Vince McMahon underwent surgery last week which kept him from doing any work on Raw or SmackDown. It was noted that the surgery was close to five hours long, and people close to Vince have said it was a “major, life altering operation.”
When WWE was asked how this will affect Vince McMahon’s work moving forward no answer was given. Triple H was not at Raw on Monday as the show was run by Bruce Prichard. However, it’s expected that Triple H will be back imminently.
Several of the WWE talent who spoke on the subject noted that they didn’t know anything about Vince’s surgery until the news became public. Stay tuned for more updates on Vince McMahon’s condition as they become available.
