Bobby Lashley has been on a roll over the last few weeks as he managed to defeat The Miz to win the WWE Championship for the first time in his career, and he’s currently scheduled to defend the belt against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37.
As a member of The Hurt Business Lashley has found major success, and the group proved that there’s strength in numbers when everyone is on the same page, but recently the wrestling world was shocked when The Hurt Business broke up on Monday Night Raw.
Fightful Select reports that it was Vince McMahon, and Vince McMahon alone who made the decision to split up The Hurt Business. Members of the group were shocked when they found out about the split, and both Bobby Lashley and MVP were vocal when it came to being against the idea.
Bobby Lashley and MVP reportedly met with Vince McMahon who “dug his heels in even more” when it came his decision to break the group up.
It’s being said that it was a blow to morale in regards to Vince sticking to his decision even when talents were trying to talk him out of it.
