Backstage News On Triple H Letting WWE Stars Work Independent Events

WrestleMania week is huge for wrestling fans and there will be no shortage of events to attend for people who are looking to travel to Philadelphia for the festivities.

It’s not often that you see WWE contracted wrestlers work matches outside of a WWE ring, but it was recently announced that Shayna Baszler will be competing Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport X during WrestleMania week.

The Wrestling Observer reports that Shayna Baszler working the event was a decision made by Triple H. It was noted that Triple H has a different view on these type of things than Vince McMahon had.

At this point in time there’s currently no word on who Shayna Baszler will be facing at the event, but it’s currently set to take place on Thursday, April 4.
