You never know when you could see one of your favorite NXT stars get called up to the main roster, and it’s always exciting when it happens. However, over the last few years fans have seen a number of former NXT stars go through questionable changes after getting called up.
Last year former NXT Champion Karrion Kross was called up to Monday Night Raw, but it quickly became clear that fans weren’t going to see the same Kross they saw in NXT on the main roster as he was repackaged with a new gimmick.
Fightful Select reports that Triple H is a big supporter of Karrion Kross and he was said to have been “dismayed” at how Kross was used when he got called up last year. Kross and Scarlett both returned during last week’s episode of SmackDown and it’s being reported that they are both listed on WWE’s internal roster positioned as the number two heels on SmackDown.
While working outside of WWE Kross was adamant that Scarlett remain part of his presentation and at one point passed up a match with Wardlow in AEW. Kross did not want his presentation to resemble his run on Raw last year.
