It was announced last week that Triple H was taking over WWE creative and there was a lot of anticipation heading into Raw this week. Fightful Select reports that they were told earlier in the day on Monday that this week’s episode of Raw would be a “statement” from the new regime.
Ciampa was heavily featured on Raw this week and it’s being reported that he’s been well received by the WWE staff on the main roster so far. It’s also being said that even people who weren’t on Raw were excited as numerous wrestlers across multiple brands have expressed a renewed sense of optimism now that Triple H is in charge of creative. One talent noted that they saw Dakota Kai’s return as a great sign.
Two top talents reportedly said that they were excited to not have to wrestle the same person every week. There was a lot of positivity when it came to Ciampa and Mustafa Ali being put in spots where they could shine, and a top wrestler who’s not with WWE noticed that the company put an increased focus on the women’s division.
Fightful reportedly spoke to over two dozen talents and no one has expressed any particular concerns when it comes to Vince McMahon no longer being in creative. Triple H is being credited for having vision and for integrating Vince McMahon projects like the Maximum Male Models storyline.
