It’s certainly not uncommon for changes to be made to the show shortly before Monday Night Raw goes on the air, and it sounds like that was the case for this week’s episode.
PWInsider reports that there was yet again “a lot of ripping up of the script” for Raw all day before the show aired. This led to rematches taking place on the show.
It’s being said that a lot of the first hour for Monday Night Raw this week wasn’t set in stone until about 35 to 45 minutes before the show went live.
Rematches featured on this week’s show included Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka, Humberto Carillo vs. Sheamus and Cedric Alexander vs. Shelton Benjamin.
