WWE Super ShowDown shuffled the deck in a major way for WrestleMania 36, as Goldberg walked out with the Universal Championship.
Now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Goldberg is set to defend his belt against Roman Reigns, and John Cena will be facing Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania.
The current card for WrestleMania is as follows:
WWE Universal Championship Match
Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns
WWE Championship Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre
John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt
Edge vs. Randy Orton (possible stipulation to be added later)
Raw Women’s Championship Match
Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler
The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles
NXT Women’s Championship Match
Rhea Rhipley vs. Charlotte Flair
WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match
Kabuki Warriors vs. Natalya & Beth Phoenix
Otis vs. Dolph Ziggler
It was also noted that there will be two battle royals on the show, one for the men, one for the women, as well as five other matches on the card.
Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins is expected to be added in some form, either in a singles match, or a tag match what would see Rollins & Murphy defend the Raw Tag Team Titles against Owens and a partner.
A SmackDown Women’s Title match is expected, and a possible multi-man match for the US Title could be added to the card.
It’s being reported that Braun Strowman will be defending the IC Title at the show, and it’s been speculated that he could face Sheamus, but that’s not confirmed.
WrestleMania will also feature a SmackDown Tag Team Title match with The Miz & Morrison possibly facing The New Day in a rematch. One idea was to involve King Corbin & Robert Roode in some form.
