The Undertaker has only appeared on WWE programming a few times this year, but The Deadman has made his appearances count.
Fans will be seeing the former WWE Champion make his return to SmackDown Live in a few weeks as it’s been confirmed that he will be appearing on the 9/10 episode which is set to take place from Madison Square Garden.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Taker’s SmackDown appearance was planned from the start, and it wasn’t something the company did as a reaction to ticket sales being lower than expected.
The 9/10 SmackDown will be the go-home show for the Clash of Champions pay-per-view, but there don’t appear to be any plans for Taker to work the PPV.
The Undertaker is also currently being advertised for the 10/4 episode which will be the SmackDown 20th anniversary episode on FOX.
It’s also being reported that Taker is not scheduled to wrestle on the 9/10 or 10/4 show, he’s just booked to appear.
