The Undertaker stepped away from WWE after the Brothers of Destruction were defeated by DX at Crown Jewel back in November.
The Deadman didn’t appear at WrestleMania this year, but he did surprise the fans when he showed up on Raw to confront Elias.
Taker delivered a chokeslam and a Tombstone to Elias, and the fans made it very clear that they were happy to see him.
The former World Heavyweight Champion is expected to appear at WWE’s next show in Saudi Arabia, and Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that he was told Taker would be returning to set up an angle for the Saudi Arabia show.
It was speculated that the confrontation on Raw was likely to set up an angle for Taker and Elias at the event.
