We’re only a few days away from the big WWE Raw premiere on Netflix and anticipation for the show is at an all time high. The debut episode of Raw on Netflix is shaping up to be a big show, and there’s been a lot of speculation regarding a possible appearance from The Rock.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that while no one has directly confirmed that The Rock will be on the Raw premiere on Netflix, there’s a chance he could make an appearance. The belief is that The Rock will be part of WrestleMania, but nobody knows in what capacity.
“Nobody had directly told us that Dwayne Johnson will be on the show, but I would think there’s a good shot of it. There is a belief he’s doing Wrestlemania, although nobody knows what capacity and as noted, [John] Cena vs. [Cody] Rhodes is right now scheduled meaning the original plans for Rhodes vs. Rock are off.”
As of right now it seems that WWE is moving forward with plans for John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 as opposed to Rock vs. Rhodes. However, it’s also being reported that whatever Rock wants to happen will happen, and plans will change if he wants a prominent role at WrestleMania.
