Sunday night WWE’s first ever all women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, is set to air on the WWE Network.
The event seems like it’s been a long time coming, but WWE didn’t do much to promote the event on Raw and SmackDown Live this week, as Crown Jewel seemed to be the focus in regards to upcoming pay-per-views.
Dave Meltzer recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the internal reaction to Evolution is that it’s not considered a big show, and that the event was announced as a way for WWE to take the heat off the company over the women not traveling to Saudi Arabia.
