The annual SummerSlam pay-per-view aired live last weekend and the show as full of surprises. Bianca Belair was originally set to defend her SmackDown Women’s Title against Sasha Banks at the event, but Banks was unable to compete. Instead Becky Lynch made her return and Lynch defeated Belair to win the title in 26 seconds.
Fightful Select reports that people backstage have said Bianca Belair appeared to be in good spirits following her loss to Becky Lynch, and her attitude has been applauded. It’s being said that Bianca Belair has a reputation for making the best of every situation she’s put in creatively.
The reaction among WWE talents and staff ranged from genuine shock to not being surprised by the result of the title match.
