Kevin Owens has faced off against Sami Zayn many times throughout the course of his career, and they clashed one more time at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on Sunday night. Zayn ended up defeating Kevin Owens at the event, and following the show Owens announced that he was taking a break from WWE.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Kevin Owens will be taking time off, but the time off is for storyline purposes.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Kevin Owens teamed up with Big E to face Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez. Following the match Owens was shown suffering on camera after getting hit with the Nigerian Nail.
