Shinsuke Nakamura was originally booked to face Jeff Hardy in a United States Championship match on SmackDown Live tonight, but WWE announced a few hours before the show that Nakamura has been pulled from in-ring competition due to injury.
F4Wonline.com is reporting that Shinsuke Nakamura is out of action because he was bit in the leg by a police dog at the Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, CA on Monday.
It’s unclear at this time if Shinsuke will be able to wrestle at the upcoming live events in Japan.
With Shinsuke out of action, Jeff Hardy has declared that he will defend the United States Championship in an open challenge tonight on SmackDown Live.
