Over the last several years Shane McMahon has been a major part of WWE programming, but he was exiled from WWE after he lost his feud with Kevin Owens.
Fans haven’t seen much of Shane since then, but it was recently reported that he worked as a producer for the 30 man Royal Rumble match along with Jamie Noble, Chris Park (Abyss) and Lance Storm.
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman also had input when it came to the early part of the Royal Rumble match.
However, it was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Shane McMahon is not officially working as a producer or agent for WWE, or any similar role.
He was simply helping out with the men’s Royal Rumble match, and it was also noted Shane McMahon is usually not around these days.
