You never know who might show up at WrestleMania, and on Sunday night Shane McMahon made his surprise return to WWE. McMahon faced off against The Miz in an impromptu match, but things didn’t exactly go as planned.
Shane McMahon went for a leap frog as The Miz ran into him, but when Shane landed it appeared that his leg gave out and he collapsed to the mat before he was helped out of the ring. Snoop Dogg then improvised when he got in the ring and punched The Miz in the mouth before hitting him with the People’s Elbow.
During the post-show press conference Triple H confirmed that Shane McMahon suffered a torn quad during his WrestleMania return. The Game also praised Snoop Dogg for improvising and making the best out of a bad situation.
Fightful Select is also reporting that Jessika Carr was heavily praised for helping to guide the improvised situation with Snoop and The Miz who were also praised by talent. Shane McMahon was tended to backstage and he was also filmed for a documentary. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
