The annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view aired live on Saturday night, and there were some interesting surprise entrants in the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches.
It looks like there were some other names who were considered as PWInsider is reporting that WWE reached out to Lana about making an appearance at the Royal Rumble. It’s being said that as late as last week there were some in the company who thought Lana would be in the women’s Royal Rumble, but as the PPV continued to get closer her name was no longer mentioned.
Several other talents such as Jillian Hall and Aksana were brought in as a security precaution in case someone didn’t end up passing the necessary medical protocols.
It was also noted that Paige was not at the Royal Rumble. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
