Last weekend the AEW Revolution pay-per-view aired live from Los Angeles and Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance when she confronted Toni Storm after Storm’s match with Marina Shafir. Following her appearance at the event everyone has been wondering what the future holds for Ronda and AEW.
Fightful Select reports that they asked a number of sources in All Elite Wrestling, and everyone they spoke to is of the belief that Ronda Rousey is not signed to AEW. It was noted that Ronda Rousey is local to Los Angeles and has a good relationship with Tony Khan.
Sources in AEW stated that Rousey got the desired reaction from the company when as she was brought in as a heel, but Rousey seemed to expect a different reaction.
WWE and TKO sources did not seem surprised by the appearance and said that they expect Ronda Rousey to do everything she can to go up against WWE, TKO and UFC. They do not see a return to WWE for Ronda Rousey as something that’s in the cards.
As of right now there’s no word on any follow up plans for Ronda Rousey in AEW.
