For the last few years Roman Reigns has been involved in some big matches at WrestleMania, and at WrestleMania 36 he was originally set to challenge Goldberg for the Universal Championship.
However, it was recently reported that Roman Reigns has been pulled from the Show of Shows this year.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Roman Reigns made the call himself to be pulled from his match at WrestleMania 36. Roman reportedly showed up for the tapings before making the call.
It’s being said that the decision had something to do with The Miz being sick, and The Usos being unhappy about it.
It was also noted that due to Roman’s history with leukemia treatment his immune system is compromised, so Roman’s risk for getting sick was high.
