The Big Dog officially returned to action at the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view a few months ago when he reunited with The Shield, and on Sunday night Roman Reigns competed on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Roman managed to pick up a win over Drew McIntyre, and now it appears that he’s moving on to a new opponent.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that it looks like WWE is grooming Baron Corbin for a feud with Roman Reigns, which may be one of the reasons why he got a victory over Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35.
Baron Corbin appeared on Raw the next night and took an Angle Slam from Kurt Angle shortly before Angle was destroyed by Lars Sullivan.
Reigns did not appear on the show, but he did make his way down to the ring after Raw for one final reunion with The Shield as Dean Ambrose said goodbye.
