On Sunday night the women of WWE made history once again when they competed inside the Elimination Chamber to determine who would be the first ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
In the end it was Sasha Banks and Bayley who walked out with the belts, and they announced the next night that they’ll be taking on challengers from Raw, SmackDown Live and NXT.
It was recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Sasha Banks and Bayley are expected to defend the titles against Nia Jax and Tamina at the Fastlane pay-per-view.
It’s also being reported that one idea being discussed for WrestleMania 35 would see the titles defended in a four way match against a team from Raw, a team from SmackDown Live and a team from NXT.
However, those plans are not set in stone and as of right now that match hasn’t been added to the card.
