WrestleMania season has come and gone, and the Show of Shows was extra exciting this time around because it was the first WWE event to have fans in attendance in over a year.
Having live fans in attendance for a WWE show certainly made a world of difference, and it was recently reported that WWE officials hope to have fans in attendance for the SummerSlam pay-per-view as well.
Now PWInsider is reporting that there’s been talk of SummerSlam possibly taking place in Phoenix, Arizona or somewhere in Texas.
Nothing is set in stone but the hope is that WWE will be able to do the show outdoors using a stadium as the venue.
WWE has yet to announce a date for the 2021 SummerSlam pay-per-view. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
