WrestleMania 37 has come and come, and the two night event was one that fans surely won’t forget anytime soon. Now that the Show of Shows is over fans are looking ahead to other WWE events such as Money in the Bank, and of course SummerSlam.
Mania was special this year as it was the first event to have live fans in attendance for quite some time, and now Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated is reporting that the current plan is for fans to be in attendance for SummerSlam.
As of this writing WWE has not yet announced an official date or location for the annual SummerSlam pay-per-view.
WWE recently moved the ThunderDome to the Yuengling Center in Tampa, and the company’s residency with the venue is believed to end on August, 2nd. It’s not clear where WWE will be heading next.
Stay tuned for more updates on SummerSlam as they become available.
