It was announced back in September that Survivor Series would be different this year as the show will feature two WarGames matches. Triple H has also confirmed that the event will be known as Survivor Series: WarGames this year, and it sounds like WWE is looking to pull out all the stops.
Bryan Alvarez recently noted on Wrestling Observer Live that fans should expect to see some crazy things during the WarGames matches at Survivor Series. It’s being said that WWE needs footage for video packages as most of the footage the company has is from NXT and features wrestlers who are no longer with the company.
This week on WWE Monday Night Raw it was confirmed that Damage CTRL, Nikki Cross, and one more competitor will face Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Bianca Belair, and two more competitors to be announced, in the women’s WarGames matches.
Survivor Series: WarGames will air live from Boston on Saturday, November 26. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
