The Money In The Bank briefcase has been around for quite some time now, and the guaranteed title shot has helped many Superstars take their careers to the next level.
However, over the last few years the briefcase seems to have lost some of its prestige.
In 2017, Baron Corbin failed to win the big one after he cashed in, and the same thing happened in 2018 with Braun Strowman.
It looks like WWE officials are taking the briefcase much more seriously this time around, as WrestleVotes is reporting that there’s a strong push within the creative team to have the winner of the match come out looking like a star.
It was also noted that the feeling backstage is that they’ve blown it with the last two cash ins.
