We’re officially on the Road to WrestleMania 37, and business picked up in a major way at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on Sunday night.
Drew McIntyre managed to retain his WWE Championship after picking up the victory inside the Elimination Chamber, but after the match he was beaten down by an angry Bobby Lashley.
The Miz then cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win the belt, and the show went off the air with the new WWE Champion celebrating.
With WrestleMania so close fans can’t help but wonder what WWE might have in mind for the WWE Title at the event, but it sounds like Miz could be losing the belt before the show of shows.
According to WrestleVotes The Miz is not currently scheduled to be involved with the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania, but Bobby Lashley is.
Further details are unknown at this point, but it will be interesting to see where the title picture goes from here, as it’s hard to believe Drew McIntyre isn’t going to want to get revenge on Bobby Lashley. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
