Backstage News On Plans For The Universal Title At WrestleMania 35

WrestleMania season is here, and WWE is shuffling the creative deck to put all the big pieces in place for the Show of Shows in April.

Recently Braun Strowman was pulled from the Universal Title match at the Royal Rumble, and now Finn Balor is the man who will go on to challenge The Beast for the belt at the event.

As far as future challengers go for Brock Lesnar, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar for the title is still earmarked for WrestleMania 35.

It’s also being reported that Vince McMahon decided to change course with the Lesnar vs. Strowman match when it was discovered that Braun Strowman needed elbow surgery.

McMahon also felt that another Lesnar vs. Strowman match would have had to end with a screw job finish, which likely would have had to set up a rematch, or with a Lesnar win, which would have hurt Strowman.

Are you looking forward to Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35? Sound off in the comments below.
