WWE has been making some major moves over the last few months as it’s been confirmed that SmackDown will be moving to USA Network later this year with NXT moving to the CW and earlier this week it was announced that WWE signed a deal to bring Monday Night Raw to Netflix in 2025.
With all three of WWE’s weekly shows switching networks there’s been some speculation on whether or not one or more brands could switch nights. Nick Khan recently confirmed on the Pat McAfee Show that Raw will be remaining on Mondays.
During a recent interview with POST Wrestling, Dave Meltzer talked about USA Network’s plans for SmackDown and noted that as of right now the show will continue to air on Friday nights.
“I was told as of right now for USA Network, the plan is that SmackDown is on Friday (when it moves to USA in Oct). But of course if you evaluate everything, I don’t see why they would do that, but that is the plan as of right now”
