Roman Reigns became the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship when he defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and since then he’s defended his title a few times. On Saturday fans saw The Tribal Chief put the belts on the line against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle, and Roman picked up a big win over Drew when NXT star Solo Sikoa debuted and helped Roman retain.
Now that Clash at the Castle has come and gone fans are wondering when Roman Reigns will defend his title again, and Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Roman is not currently set to appear at Extreme Rules in October.
According to Meltzer, the current plan is for Roman Reigns to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the next Saudi Arabia event in November. There’s no word on who his next opponent will be.
WWE’s next show in Saudi Arabia will be the Crown Jewel premium live event which is currently scheduled to take place on November 5. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
